Empowering Educators for a Sustainable Future: the SDG4U Train the Trainers

The SDG4U project, funded by the Erasmus+ KA220 – HED programme, is hosting a “Train the Trainers” seminar on May 30th, 2025. This seminar is a pivotal component of the SDG4U initiative, which focuses on integrating the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into higher education to promote transformative and sustainable educational practices.

  • Target Audience: University educators and academic staff interested in embedding SDGs into teaching and institutional practices

The seminar is structured into four focused modules:

  1. Introduction to the SDGs and Higher Education

  2. Interdisciplinary Learning

  3. Multi-Actor Collaborative Learning

  4. Action-Based Learning

Each module includes presentations, exercises, workshops, and open discussions aimed at developing interactive, participatory, and innovative teaching practices. Participants will have the opportunity to design courses or activities based on the SDGs and exchange good practices with colleagues from diverse academic fields.

Participation and Access

To accommodate diverse needs and enhance accessibility, participants can join the seminar in one of three formats: in-person at the host venue, via hybrid participation, or asynchronously through recorded sessions available after the event.
